We will be in touch with you shortly.
Following our announcement and kick-off of renovation plans in January, we are excited to share and celebrate some recent Houston Center project milestones!
Firstly, we have commenced install on the first panels (and corner!) of the glass curtain wall at 2 Houston Center.
The high-performance glass being used is assembled in a double layer format and has a low-emissivity coating that limits the amount of UV and infrared light passing through. This creates an insulating inner airspace between the two pieces of glass, creating better acoustics as well as thermal performance to keep our tenants and visitors cool in the summer, and comfortable in the winter!
Additionally, we have also begun installing white Statuarietto marble on the interior lobby walls at 2 Houston Center. The Statuarietto material was quarried and cut in Carrera, Italy and is being placed by a local stone installation company to insure it is handled with the utmost care and attention.
The renovation of Houston Center will focus on connectedness and hospitality, re-establishing the campus as the epicenter of culture and collaboration in downtown Houston. Upon completion, Houston Center will be a welcoming, modern and energetic mixed-use campus, with well-designed amenities that raise the bar on the tenant experience.
